Description

You will design and manage secure network architectures across multi-cloud environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Oversee network onboarding and provisioning for new users and systems in AWS and Azure.
• Implement secure architectures including VPCs, subnets, routing tables, and network access control lists.
• Configure connectivity services such as AWS Direct Connect, Azure VPN Gateway, and transit gateways.
• Deploy network security controls including security groups, network firewalls, and web application firewalls.
• Monitor network traffic and security logs using flow logs and activity trails to respond to incidents.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in network and cloud security engineering.
• Hands-on experience provisioning cloud accounts and resources in AWS and Azure.
• Proficiency in Python and Terraform for automation and scripting.
• Deep knowledge of cloud security services including IAM, CloudTrail, Config, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
• Practical experience with VPCs, Direct Connect, VPN gateways, and transit gateways.
• Strong understanding of security regulations and frameworks including FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST 171.
• Experience implementing network security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Ability to manage Azure Defender and AWS Macie.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Security - Specialty.
• Azure Security Engineer Associate.
