Description

You will own the operationalized governance of security operations and controls within cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Establish security policies, guardrails, and frameworks for cloud environments in collaboration with architects.
• Develop automation and mechanisms for the detection and mitigation of non-compliant actions.
• Create remediation best practices, runbooks, and security awareness material for service owners.
• Own the maturity of tools, metrics, and dashboards to drive security governance and awareness.
• Deliver weekly and monthly business review reports, including programmatic situational awareness reports.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in a security engineering capacity.
• Proficiency in at least four languages: SQL, PowerShell, C++, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and AWS cloud foundations.
• Experience with MS Defender for Cloud and firewall perimeter management.
• Ability to synthesize complex data into security justifications and business stories.
• Experience working within a Security Operations (SecOps) organization.
• Ability to build roadmaps and scale technical operationalization of security advisories.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of GCP, OCI, or Oracle cloud environments.
