Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance existing COBOL applications on mainframe environments.
• Develop, debug, and optimize code using Micro Focus Enterprise.
• Lead legacy system modernization and platform migration initiatives.
• Use modern IDEs to develop, test, and debug applications.
• Collaborate with system analysts, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in COBOL Mainframe development.
• Extensive experience with Micro Focus Enterprise.
• Proven track record with legacy system modernization and migration projects.
• Proficiency in using modern IDEs for COBOL development and debugging.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work within cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Micro Focus COBOL certifications.
