Description

You will lead data management efforts within the General Insurance domain, focusing on complex data processing, insight generation, and team mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile complex data structures related to customer, policy, and claim data.
• Identify and resolve data gaps and issues following industry best practices.
• Build dashboards and reports by applying analysis techniques for risk assessment.
• Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into actionable project tasks.
• Mentor and guide a team of 2-4 members, including providing project training.
• Conduct independent peer reviews and prepare full project documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant experience in General Insurance data analysis.
• Expertise in data handling using SAS and SQL.
• Proven experience with Pricing, Reserving, Exposure Management, or Risk Management functions.
• Strong foundation in Data Modeling and ETL tool building.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex data problems and BAU reporting.
• Experience in insight generation and requirement gathering.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Any technical graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, R, AWS, or Azure for data engineering.
• Knowledge of actuarial methodology and concepts.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
