Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend and frontend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. You will design RESTful and SOAP web services, manage database interactions with DB2, and deploy solutions on AWS.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack features using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Angular 12+.
• Design and implement RESTful and SOAP web services and microservices architectures.
• Manage database operations and schema design using SQL and DB2.
• Write unit tests and maintain code quality using JUnit and standard design patterns.
• Deploy and monitor applications on AWS and traditional servers like WebSphere or JBoss.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience building scalable applications with Java and J2EE.
• Strong proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/MyBatis.
• Hands-on experience with Angular (v12+) or other JS frameworks like ReactJS/NodeJS.
• Experience designing and consuming SOAP and REST web services.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with DB2 databases.
• Familiarity with Unix Shell Scripting and CI/CD deployment processes.
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Design Patterns and layered system architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Rule Engines (e.g., Drools) or ESB (Mule).
• Knowledge of mobile development (iOS/Android).
• Java Certifications (Developer, Web Component).

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
