Description

You will build and maintain backend solutions and distributed systems using Java and Spring technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop backend solutions using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and REST services.
  • Process and manage large-scale data using Spark and the Hadoop ecosystem.
  • Build responsive front-end applications using the Angular framework.
  • Design, query, and optimize performance within Oracle databases.
  • Mentor team members, conduct interviews, and support firmwide initiatives.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Java programming.
  • Hands-on experience with Spark for large-scale data processing.
  • Proficiency with Spring, Spring Boot, and REST services.
  • Expertise in Big Data technologies including Hadoop and Sqoop.
  • Experience with Angular for front-end development.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Database design and optimization.
  • Background in financial services, specifically brokerage or custody services.
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
