Description

You will own data mapping and requirements for complex financial datasets. You will bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business information requirements and collaborate with development teams to ensure technical specifications are met.
• Identify data dependencies between teams and document the impact of data changes on downstream applications.
• Map data elements to business rules through direct interaction with customers and subject matter experts.
• Explore and validate large datasets to provide accurate reporting and recommend requirement priorities.
• Work with architects to translate business needs into technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong SQL skills with 5+ years of experience.
• 5+ years of experience using Micro Strategy or similar reporting tools.
• 5+ years of experience working with extremely large datasets.
• 5+ years of experience in data mapping and translation within the financial vertical.
• Advanced Microsoft Access skills.
• Proven experience in data mapping and maintaining data integrity.
• Bachelor's degree.
