Description

You will act as an internal consultant, using data to drive strategic planning and management improvements across business units.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Interpret executive requests and synthesize data from multiple sources, models, and software tools for business decision support.
• Assess the impact of strategic financial decisions across various Business Units and present findings to leadership.
• Develop new analytical approaches and scenarios to evaluate business strategies across different geographies and technologies.
• Create insights by leveraging large, varied datasets encompassing economic, demographic, and telecom information.
• Design, develop, and implement methods to continually improve capital decision-making processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in data analysis or related field.
• Proven experience managing data in SQL and/or NoSQL databases (Postgres, Oracle, Teradata, Hadoop, Cassandra).
• Strong proficiency in Python for automating analytics tasks.
• Expertise in SQL and GIS, including familiarity with spatial databases (Postgres/PostGIS, Oracle/ESRI).
• Experience with large-scale parallel computing in distributed environments.
• Ability to convey complex information clearly to upper-level executives.
• Experience in Telecom, Cable, or another network-related field.
