Description

You will analyze application databases and data flows to support system design and data management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze application databases to identify relations, foreign keys, and constraints based on project scope.
• Collaborate with DBAs and Data Modelers to design new data models for data archiving and purging.
• Partner with application teams, DBAs, business stakeholders, and legal departments to reach consensus on data model designs.
• Work with business and IT teams to understand data structures and flows within various applications.
• Execute all tasks following Agile methodologies and concepts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with various database systems.
• Proficiency in Oracle.
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Hadoop and Big Data environments.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with DB2 (LUW/Mainframe).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data archiving and purging strategies.
