Description

You will own end-to-end data attribution and mapping for Fraud, AML, and enterprise data marts.

You will translate business requirements into detailed data mapping, transformation logic, and technical specifications. Develop, test, and maintain datasets using SQL and Google Cloud Platform, primarily BigQuery. Design and optimize SQL queries for large-scale datasets and implement data quality validation checks. Create and maintain data mapping documentation, context diagrams, and audit compliance records. Mentor junior analysts and participate in architecture review sessions to support data models.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into data mapping, transformation logic, and technical specifications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of data analytics experience (Bachelor’s degree) or 5+ years with a Master’s degree.
• Minimum 3+ years of SQL development experience in complex data environments.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, specifically BigQuery.
• Strong expertise in data mapping, data analysis, and transformation logic development.
• Experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive process improvements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Fraud, AML, Risk, or Financial Services domains.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Ab Initio or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of data governance, auditability, and regulatory compliance practices.
