Description

You will own data modeling, query development, and database support to drive business intelligence.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and document data marts, queries, and entity-relationship diagrams across logical, physical, and presentation tiers.
• Reverse engineer schemas and queries to document business rules applied in existing data loading processes.
• Translate complex problems into detailed specifications and design solutions using data processing systems.
• Provide technical database support for in-house applications to ensure performance and user satisfaction.
• Maintain code in GitHub and log all work, estimates, and time tracking in Jira.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data analysis and database management.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Proficiency in SQL, including T-SQL and PL/SQL.
• Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling for enterprise reporting.
• Proven ability to identify, isolate, and resolve data discrepancies through rigorous QA and troubleshooting.
• Experience with data privacy protocols when handling sensitive personal information.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in user-friendly language for business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake, PowerBI, or Tableau.
• Familiarity with data cataloging tools such as Alation or Socrata.
