Description

You will lead data analysis initiatives by translating business requirements into functional specifications and technical data requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and facilitate workshops to understand business processes and pain points.
• Perform data profiling to assess quality, completeness, and consistency across large datasets.
• Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies using SQL and PySpark.
• Work with data engineers to define data models and ensure data readiness for analysis.
• Create technical documentation including BRDs, FRDs, data dictionaries, and process flows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data projects and new development.
• Expertise in SQL and Python for data analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL, SSIS, and Relational Database Management.
• Experience with Azure and AWS S3.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Experience working within Agile or hybrid project environments.
• Ability to manage SQL code and collaborate on data model evolution.
• Strong understanding of Data Engineering fundamentals.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Actuarial Sciences, Computer Science, or a related field.
