Description

Product / Data Environment

  • Building a voice assistance platform where most data comes from:
    • Call transcripts
    • Call metadata
    • Large-scale conversational datasets
  • Working with both:
    • Text data
    • Non-text data
  • Data volume is significant (gigabytes of data).
  • Experience working with LLMs or large datasets is highly valuable.

What They Need This Person to Own

  • Take ownership of analytics needs across the product.
  • Help the team understand:
    • What data is meaningful vs. noise
    • Trends and patterns
    • Product performance metrics
    • Areas for improvement
  • Support product rollout by providing insights and analysis.
  • Work through ambiguity — data may not always be clean, complete, or structured.
  • Identify what information is missing and determine how to address gaps.

First 90 Days

  • Become the analytics owner for the product.
  • Partner closely with Product and another Data Analyst already supporting the team.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making as the product moves toward launch milestones.
  • Help measure product success and readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze large volumes of call and conversational data.
  • Develop KPIs and measurement frameworks, including:
    • Did the conversion happen?
    • Was the call successful?
    • Did the interaction quality meet expectations?
    • How do we measure customer/user experience?
  • Apply statistical analysis to understand performance and identify opportunities.

Ideal Background

  • Strong Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst experience.
  • Heavy emphasis on:
    • Statistics
    • Data analysis
    • Large datasets
    • Problem-solving in ambiguous environments
    • Business decision-making
  • Voice AI experience is a plus but not required.
  • Candidates with experience analyzing large-scale customer interactions, behavioral data, or complex datasets could be a fit.

Value Proposition

  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge Voice AI technology.
  • This is a bleeding-edge product area with relatively few companies building advanced voice solutions.
  • The company already has a functioning voice product with thousands of calls occurring today.
  • The team is adding increasingly complex features and needs someone who can uncover insights through data.
  • Opportunity to work alongside professionals with strong AI and voice technology backgrounds.
  • Potential opportunity for conversion.

  • SQL

Preferred:

  • Tableau or similar visualization tools
  • Experience with LLM data or AI-related analytics
