Description

You will own data requirements, mapping, and analysis for insurance data migration and integration projects.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business and data requirements from stakeholders.
• Analyze source systems to define data structures, relationships, and quality.
• Create Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) documents for data migration.
• Write advanced SQL queries to identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
• Support data reconciliation, validation, and UAT activities.

Required Skills

• 10-12+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex querying and validation.
• Experience with Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) and business rule documentation.
• Strong background in requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on experience in the Insurance industry (Actuarial, Underwriting, or Broker data).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Business, or related field.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with data governance and metadata management.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Microsoft Azure data platforms.
• Understanding of Property & Casualty and/or Life Insurance data models.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and Agile/Scrum environments.
