Description

You will model complex utility tariffs, drive data analysis initiatives, and mentor team members to ensure accurate billing and process automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Convert utility tariffs and rates into system models, maintaining them as requirements evolve.
• Resolve discrepancies between shadow bills and actual utility bills through rigorous analysis.
• Lead Agile sprint ceremonies and mentor junior analysts on technical growth and best practices.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve data accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate client input data and resolve tariff logic issues.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of overall industry experience in data analysis or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Advanced Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Macros, and Power Query.
• Hands-on experience with SQL queries and relational database concepts.
• Programming skills in Python and/or Shell scripting.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Ability to drive Agile SCRUM ceremonies and manage sprint goals.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Energy/Utility industry with understanding of electricity or gas tariffs.
• Demonstrated aptitude for innovation and process improvement initiatives.
