You will focus on defining data needs, gathering requirements, and designing reports for Commercial Insurance within the IT department.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define data requirements for insurance reporting, including operations, compliance, financial, and actuarial needs.
Create source-to-target mapping documents to capture application data elements for loading into the enterprise data warehouse.
Work with the ETL team to ensure mappings are correctly translated into ETL code.
Perform data validation to confirm report accuracy.
Facilitate data discovery sessions with business subject matter experts.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in data analytics and reporting.
3 years of P&C Insurance subject matter experience specifically in Policy and Claims.
Advanced SQL knowledge for data analytics.
Proven experience in Data Modeling, Data mapping, and Reports designing.
Strong knowledge of PowerBI and Cognos.
Solid understanding of Data Warehousing and BI Architectures, concepts, and frameworks.
Ability to create and tune Semantic layer Reporting Views.
Experience with SAP.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center, Guidewire Claims Center, SAP FS-RI, and SAP FS-CD applications and data.
