Description

You will own the data analysis lifecycle for the Enterprise Data Asset team, supporting Agile sprints to prepare datasets for a cloud-based platform.

Responsibilities

• Profile source data, including spatial components, to identify conflicts and recommend resolutions.
• Conduct entity resolution to manage matching, merging, and semantic conflicts.
• Decompose requirements into Epics and Features, creating concise user stories and acceptance criteria for technical staff.
• Document business processes and data lifecycles using process flows, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams.
• Define test objectives, plans, and test cases, then coordinate User Acceptance Testing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience delivering business data analysis artifacts.
• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Scrum.
• Exceptional experience writing complex SQL queries for SQL Server and Oracle.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and ESRI ArcGIS.
• Experience with enterprise data management and reporting systems, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data marts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Visio.
• Proven ability to translate client strategy into dataset requirements and user stories.
• Strong skills in eliciting, recording, and managing metadata.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).
