You will manage the full system development life cycle for healthcare data reporting and warehousing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute all SDLC phases including project planning, requirements analysis, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Develop and maintain production reports using SAS for large volume databases.
• Manage front-end data warehouse processing including data extraction, cleansing, and preparation for loading.
• Transition program changes into production environments.
• Facilitate meetings, walkthroughs, and user training for state staff, vendors, and data center personnel.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an analyst-programmer across the full SDLC.
• 5+ years of experience using SAS for statistical reporting and large volume database management.
• 5+ years of experience with data warehouse processing, data extraction, and data cleansing.
• Experience working with paid and denied claims, including diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Knowledge of data standards including HIPAA, Protected Health Information (PHI), and privacy standards.
• Experience with Medicaid, Social Security Administration (SSA), or other welfare programs involving state and federal policies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and VISIO for technical documentation and status reporting.
• Strong oral communication skills for presenting to stakeholders and training end users.

Preferred Skills

• Extensive technical expertise in SAS environments.
• Analytic experience performing database querying with healthcare data.
