Description

You will design and manage data architectures centered around Guidewire integration and cloud-based ETL workflows.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Execute Guidewire CDA integrations to extract, transform, and load data into downstream reporting and analytics systems.
• Design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines connecting Guidewire data with data warehouses, lakes, and enterprise systems.
• Develop and optimize Guidewire data models and schemas for high performance and scalability.
• Implement cloud-based data engineering solutions using Azure to integrate Guidewire data with cloud services.
• Automate data ingestion processes and maintain documentation for pipeline architecture and data flows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• 3+ years of experience with Guidewire Insurance Suite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud Data Access (CDA).
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for data querying and transformation.
• Proficiency with ETL tools and PySpark.
• Experience with Azure cloud platforms for data storage and processing.
• Hands-on experience with APIs and microservices for data integration.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices for automating data workflows.
• Familiarity with big data technologies and modern data architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with enterprise data warehousing patterns.
• Background in insurance domain data structures.
