Description

Design, implement, and manage complex database systems and data models throughout the full project lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data models, complex stored procedures, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports or dashboards.
• Execute performance tuning, query optimization, and bottleneck resolution to ensure application efficiency.
• Coordinate ETL testing, data migration, and source-to-target validation to maintain data integrity.
• Troubleshoot production issues involving stored procedures, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports.
• Manage database administration tasks including maintenance scheduling, user access levels, and production deployment planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database architecture, administration, or software development.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.
• Proficiency with SQL, SSMS, and SQL Server environments.
• Experience working across Windows, Linux, and UNIX platforms.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases.
• Ability to convert reports from SAS to SQL.
• Experience with C and SQL development.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate with Business Analysts to resolve BI development issues.
