Description

You will own the health of server and network infrastructure across data centers and global points of presence, focusing on reducing MTTD and MTTR.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and monitor servers and network equipment within data centers and global points of presence.
• Perform rack and stack operations, including staging, cabling, power-up, and hardware handoff to provisioning teams.
• Define, design, and implement network layouts and solutions within the data center environment.
• Manage warehouse inventory, asset management, and spare parts using internal applications.
• Resolve data center operations tickets via Jira.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience working with server, storage, compute, and network hardware.
• 6+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing server and networking infrastructure.
• 5+ years of experience in inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and shipping equipment.
• 4+ years of experience with structured cabling (copper and fiber).
• 4+ years of experience with power and cooling concepts inside the data center.
• Proficiency in Linux shell, software management, and navigating system directories.
• Experience with fiber/optic cable labeling and troubleshooting.
• Ability to create and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures.

Preferred Skills

• Strong Linux skills including file manipulation, permission configuration, and process management.
• Bash or other scripting experience.
• Experience leading data center infrastructure projects.
