Description

Design and implement complex network configurations for regional and national data centers supporting a service provider network.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze architectural requirements for network design, partitioning, and service specifications.
• Engineer and implement spine and leaf architectures, including Cisco ACI and Nexus Dashboard/VxLAN Fabric deployments.
• Develop detailed high- and low-level diagrams and Engineering Design Packages to communicate solutions.
• Create network test, validation, and integration plans to ensure network integrity.
• Collaborate with vendors to test and drive new features.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in large enterprise or carrier environments.
• 3+ years of experience specifically in data center networking.
• 3-5 years of experience with spine and leaf architecture using Cisco ACI or Nexus Dashboard/VxLAN Fabric.
• 3-5 years of experience with Nexus 7k, 9k, and FEX architecture.
• Experience with single pod, multi-pod, and multi-site deployment topologies.
• Expertise in migration from three-tier to two-tier spine and leaf architectures.
• Knowledge of BGP, IS-IS, VRFs, and QoS.
• Knowledge of MPLS and/or segment routing (SR-MPLS, SRv6).
• Professional networking certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Public cloud certifications.
• Network configuration automation using Python, Perl, or Bash.
