We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL stored procedure development, and Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our data engineering team to support EDW extracts, optimize and maintain stored procedures, and contribute to reporting and data delivery initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
  • Create, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL stored procedures to ensure efficient data processing.
  • Support and enhance Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) extracts and integrations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting and data delivery requirements.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across systems.
  • Monitor and improve performance of ETL processes and database queries.
  • Contribute to best practices for data engineering, including documentation and automation.
  • Work in partnership with BI/reporting teams to deliver accurate and timely insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL development.
  • Hands-on experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.
  • Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and relational databases.
  • Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks, or similar).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.
  • Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages for automation.
  • Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple priorities
