Description

You will design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) within Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize ETL processes and SQL stored procedures for efficient data processing.
• Support EDW extracts and integrations to ensure data quality and consistency.
• Monitor and improve performance of database queries and data workflows.
• Collaborate with BI teams and stakeholders to deliver accurate reporting and insights.
• Implement documentation, automation, and best practices for data engineering.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL development.
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.
• Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and relational databases.
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud-based platforms like Azure Synapse or Databricks.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for automation.
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices.
• Ability to work in agile environments.
