You will design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions focused on centralization, governance, and integrity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build large-scale automated data pipelines using GCP native services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc).
• Make key architectural decisions regarding data modeling, storage, real-time processing, and orchestration.
• Implement scalable, reusable data frameworks ensuring consistent data quality and integrity.
• Establish data governance, quality, and lineage practices using tools like Data Catalog or DLP.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a comparable Business Intelligence role.
• Proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services: BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc.
• 4-5 years minimum experience with relational databases (MS-SQL, Postgres, or Oracle).
• 3-4 years of experience with NoSQL databases (Cassandra or MongoDB).
• 2-3 years of experience with Python or a similar language.
• Experience creating and maintaining intermediate to advanced Terraform scripts.
• Ability to work with multi-statement complex queries and troubleshoot performance issues.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field.
