Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data architectures for airline operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines, continuously improving their quality, efficiency, and scalability.
• Optimize query performance through performance tuning, index utilization, and materialized views.
• Develop initial queries for data profiling, validation, and driving data quality assessment specifications.
• Identify business rules for data extraction and manage technical risks like data latency and frequency.
• Mentor junior team members through code reviews and enforcement of engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of post-degree professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience within the airline industry.
• 4+ years of experience developing and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• 3+ years of experience with Python and PL/SQL.
• Proficiency in .NET and Java.
• Strong understanding of data ingestion and data design best practices.
• Experience writing test cases to ensure data quality and reliability.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
