Description

You will build and maintain scalable data and analytics platforms for the Banking Solutions business.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of scalable data and analytics solutions following industry standards.
• Implement high-quality codebases using cloud-based DBaaS and application technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, code quality, and software architecture.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and cross-functional technical meetings.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency with AWS and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience standing up and running tools such as Celebrus, Quantum Metrics, or Tealium.
• Hands-on experience with Agile, DevOps, and Lean methodologies.
• Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience developing engineering applications for large corporations.
• Knowledge of data modeling principles, design guidelines, and system security measures.
• Ability to optimize performance, manage memory, and use debugging tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience transitioning technology from on-premise Oracle to AWS cloud platforms.
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field.
