Description

You will design and optimize large-scale data architectures and pipelines to support complex business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize big data pipelines, architectures, and datasets.
• Execute conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling using relational and dimensional techniques.
• Tune complex SQL for performance and cost optimization.
• Perform root cause analysis on internal and external data to identify process improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to champion analytical data assets.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong coding skills in Python and Scala.
• Expertise with Snowflake and MPP databases.
• Advanced SQL knowledge including performance tuning.
• Proficiency with AWS services: Glue, Athena, QuickSight, Kinesis, Lambda, and IAM Policies.
• Experience with workflow management tools such as Airflow or Redwood.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Git, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Experience creating and using APIs.
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
