Description

You design and build large-scale data solutions across OLTP and OLAP systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions using Big Data and NoSQL data stores (document, column family, graph).
• Develop and support Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) systems.
• Tune SQL queries for performance within complex data environments.
• Implement development across various database management systems, including NoSQL and relational platforms.
• Apply Agile or Scrum methodologies to data projects.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Expertise in SQL and Python (or PySpark/Java).
• Hands-on experience with Big Data processing and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Proficiency in GCP tools and distributed systems design.
• Experience with ETL processes and Data Modeling tools.
• Familiarity with Hive and database administration concepts (replication, HA, encryption).
• Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• 3+ years tenure in previous data engineering roles.
