Description

You will build, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure for the organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using modern practices.
• Design and manage data models following warehousing best practices.
• Implement and manage data orchestration workflows using Airflow.
• Optimize complex SQL queries and tune database performance for efficiency.

Required Skills

• 9 to 18 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• 4.5+ years of hands-on experience with dbt (dbt Cloud and dbt Core).
• Expert proficiency in dbt development, including writing macros and implementing testing.
• Advanced SQL skills with a strong focus on query optimization.
• 2+ years of experience with GCP data services: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
• Proficiency in Python for data pipeline automation.
• Extensive background in ETL/ELT using Spark, Scala, PySpark, or Databricks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka and Pub/Sub for real-time data streaming.
