Lead the migration of data pipelines from SSIS to Snowflake while designing efficient migration strategies to optimize performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the migration of data pipelines from SSIS to SnowSQL to ensure minimal disruption to existing processes.
• Design and implement data migration strategies from SQL Server to Snowflake to optimize performance and reliability.
• Integrate Airflow and Python scripts into the migration process to automate tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
• Analyze and document transformation rules within legacy SSIS packages.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of migration processes to resolve data discrepancies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and SnowSQL.
• Proficiency in Python for data automation.
• Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of SSIS to analyze and document legacy transformation rules.
• Experience working with SQL Server.
• Ability to work on-site in Orlando, FL.
