Description

Lead end-to-end data engineering projects to deliver automated solutions for Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain business units.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL pipelines and dimensional data models from multiple sources to the data warehouse.
• Manage project delivery from initial design through production while engaging stakeholders.
• Refine star schemas and other dimensional models to support efficient reporting and analytics.
• Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks within data processes and existing solutions.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure all finance-related projects meet SOX regulatory standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or Vertica.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with ETL tools and pipelines such as SSIS, Informatica, or Airflow.
• Familiarity with distributed systems like Kafka or Spark.
• Knowledge of OLAP tools including SSAS, Hyperion, or Cognos.
• Experience using reporting and visualization tools like SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both engineering and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Background in Accounting, Finance, or Banking.
