Description

You will design, develop, and maintain data systems using Domain-Driven Design principles and Python. You own the full lifecycle from ingestion to orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data systems applying Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Build data ingestion and processing frameworks using Apache NiFi and Apache Kafka.
• Develop and manage data storage solutions including Apache Cassandra, Databricks, and Apache Spark.
• Deploy and orchestrate data systems using Git, Jenkins, and Apache Airflow.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical code and design reviews.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with Apache Kafka and Apache NiFi.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Cassandra, Databricks, and Apache Spark.
• Experience using Git, Jenkins, and Apache Airflow for deployment and orchestration.
• Practical application of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
• Ability to translate business requirements from domain experts into technical data solutions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
