Description

You will lead data engineering and analytics initiatives while mentoring junior team members and managing project lifecycles.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement database structures, data models, and data quality assurance processes.
• Execute data engineering workflows using SQL, Python, and R.
• Develop client-side web data collection scripts using tools like Google Tag Manager or Salesforce WebSDK.
• Manage small project teams and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
• Document technical processes and oversee project lifecycles.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and R.
• Extensive experience with Snowflake, Alteryx, Azure, and Git.
• Expertise in database design and data modeling.
• Experience with client-side web data collection scripting.
• Proficiency with business intelligence tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage small project teams.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts including cookies, pixels, CAPI, and campaign optimization.
• Knowledge of GA4 data models and privacy/compliance laws.
