Description

You will build and manage scalable data storage solutions and integrated data pipelines within an AWS environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage scalable data storage solutions using S3, Aurora Postgres, Redshift, DynamoDB, or RDS.
• Integrate data from APIs, databases, and streaming platforms into centralized data lakes or warehouses.
• Monitor data pipelines and infrastructure for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Implement data security best practices including encryption, IAM policies, and access controls.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval for performance and cost efficiency.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Extensive AWS experience including Lambda, Glue, Redshift, EMR, Athena, Kinesis, and CloudWatch.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Hands-on experience with Node.js, Aurora Postgres, DynamoDB, and RDS.
• Experience with AWS serverless architectures, containers, and cloud migration.
• Familiarity with big data tools such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule in Nashville, TN, requiring 3 days per week in office.

Preferred Skills

• Experience transforming database code from Oracle to Postgres.
• Knowledge of ETL solutions, CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with AWS QuickSight, Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI.
