Description

You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to transform raw data into actionable information.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Snowflake.
• Ingest, transform, and request data from REST and SOAP APIs.
• Implement data and dimensional modeling principles to ensure data normalization.
• Drive data projects from initiation through completion while managing competing priorities.
• Communicate technical findings and project status to business leaders and engineering teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, and pipeline construction.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, Kinesis, Glue, and CloudWatch.
• 3+ years of experience working with Kafka streams.
• Advanced proficiency in Python scripting and SQL.
• Deep understanding of relational databases and dimensional modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and cloud databases.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PySpark, DBT, Apache Airflow, or Fivetran.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Sigma, Azure, Salesforce, or SAP data.
