Description

You will architect scalable business intelligence datasets and software solutions within an Agile environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect software engineering phases including requirements analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with People Analytics to build standard datasets that drive reporting stability and decision-making.
• Conduct design and code reviews to enforce best practices, security, unit testing, and scalability guidelines.
• Mentor data engineers and serve as a technical resource for the People Analytics community.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of data engineering experience.
• 3+ years of full lifecycle application and software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Python, Java, and Scala.
• 2+ years of SDLC experience in an Agile environment.
• Working knowledge of APIs, CI/CD, Big Data, and data architecture and governance.
• Experience with Cloud technologies: Docker, OSE, Kubernetes, AWS, Snowflake, and Azure.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub, and Big Data technologies like Spark.
• Experience ingesting and working with large, complex datasets and relational databases.
• Experience gathering requirements from end users.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in data extraction, manipulation, management, and performing quality checks.
• Experience leading people or large-scale projects.
• Experience creating user stories using the "As a, I want, so that" methodology.
