Description

You will design, build, and maintain large-scale data pipelines and migrations within distributed environments.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS services (S3, EC2, EMR, Athena, Redshift).
• Manage data migrations from on-premise systems (Teradata) to the AWS cloud.
• Support large-scale data processing using Spark, Hive, and Scala.
• Collaborate with customers daily to ensure technical requirements and delivery quality.
• Share technical knowledge and conduct training sessions with engineering groups.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering within distributed, data-intensive environments.
• Expert-level proficiency in Scala.
• Strong experience with Spark, PySpark, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies including Hive and HBase.
• Proven track record of migrating data to AWS cloud environments.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience working within Scrum and Agile development frameworks.
• Ability to work effectively with geographically distributed teams.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java and Talend.
• Experience modeling datasets from Teradata to the cloud.
