Description

You will manage and enhance a high-volume data application within an agile environment. You will maintain production systems, implement enhancements via Machine Learning and Master Data integrations, and design data applications using established engineering patterns. A key focus is migrating existing AWS EMR applications to AWS Glue. You will participate in six-week Program Increment planning cycles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance high-volume production data systems.
• Design, develop, and fine-tune data applications using standard engineering patterns.
• Execute migration of existing AWS EMR applications to AWS Glue.
• Integrate data solutions with Machine Learning and Master Data applications.
• Participate in agile development cycles and six-week Program Increment planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• 3-5 years of experience with Apache Spark.
• 3-5 years of experience with AWS EMR.
• 1-5 years of experience with AWS Glue.
• Proficiency in AWS Cloud technologies.
• Experience designing and optimizing high-volume data pipelines.
• Proven ability to work within agile frameworks and sprint-based delivery.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any field of study.
