Description

You will build and scale data pipelines and warehouses using Python, SQL, and Databricks on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable data pipelines and warehouses using Python, SQL, Databricks, and AWS.
• Automate data workflows for ingestion, cleansing, quality assurance, enrichment, and aggregation.
• Implement automated quality control procedures to ensure data accuracy, integrity, privacy, and security.
• Partner with data scientists to deploy machine learning models into production.
• Collaborate with actuarial teams using SAS, R, and Excel to ensure accurate data rendering in web applications.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data-intensive, full-stack development projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Airflow.
• Proficiency in R.
• Strong backend development skills with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with AWS or GCP infrastructure.
• Experience using GitHub for version control.
• Ability to build an MVP and scale it into an enterprise product.
• Experience working in an ambiguous, startup environment with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Prior startup experience.
