Description

Lead the design, implementation, and testing of data movement, dashboarding, and analytical assets for large-scale migration projects. Evaluate architectural options and define overall architecture for SQL to NoSQL cloud migration projects. Define functional and non-functional requirements, including performance monitoring, alerting, and code management. Design and implement data movement, data modeling, and data classification strategies. Interface with Product Owners and IT leadership to define and estimate features for agile teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define functional and non-functional requirements, including performance monitoring, alerting, and code management.
• Design and implement data movement, data modeling, and data classification strategies.
• Develop system documentation and architectural runways following SAFe Agile principles.
• Interface with Product Owners and IT leadership to define and estimate features for agile teams.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience in business application design, development, or solution architecture.
• Proven experience migrating on-premises SQL data to NoSQL cloud solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, Cosmos, and Log Analytics.
• Proficiency with SQL, Databricks, and Java.
• Experience with cloud storage providers such as Azure Cosmos or Google Cloud.
• Ability to use LoadRunner or SolarWinds to measure solution performance.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent technical training.
