Description

You will design, develop, and lead scalable data engineering solutions within the Azure ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and manage scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks and PySpark.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for ETL processes.
• Build data models, data marts, and data lakes on Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Integrate data from structured and unstructured sources across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices within the Azure ecosystem.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience in data engineering.
• Expert proficiency in Azure Databricks and PySpark.
• Strong skills in writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, including OLTP and OLAP concepts.
• Experience with performance tuning of big data solutions.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and Azure DevOps for deployments.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure-based data services.
