Description

You will own the design, building, and maintenance of core data platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage data ingestion and extraction processes for the warehouse database.
• Optimize database schemas and queries before production deployment.
• Own ETL and Data Lakehouse management processes.
• Identify platform improvements and manage incident recovery to ensure zero data loss.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or database administration.
• Strong expertise in MySQL and experience with PostgreSQL migrations.
• Deep proficiency with Snowflake.
• Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines in complex environments.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and schema optimization.
• Proficiency in Python for ETL ingestion scripts.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, Redshift, and DMS.
• Familiarity with Apache tools like Airflow, Kafka, and Superset.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux system administration and web servers.
• Knowledge of database security hardening best practices.
