Description

You will design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data into Snowflake.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines using Matillion to load data into Snowflake.
• Optimize SQL queries, scripts, and stored procedures in Snowflake and SQL Server for efficiency.
• Develop and implement data models within Snowflake to support business intelligence and analytics.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve data anomalies and prevent recurrence.
• Document data flows, technical specifications, and ER diagrams representing business logic.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in ETL and data transformation projects.
• Advanced SQL knowledge with experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Strong Python skills for data engineering tasks.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, including Star and Snowflake schemas.
• Proficiency with relational databases such as Snowflake, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Experience with AWS infrastructure including S3, SNS, EC2, CloudWatch, and RDS.
• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and Normal forms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Matillion ELT and building AWS Data Pipelines using Python, Spark, or SparkSQL.
• Healthcare or PBM-specific data transformation experience.
