Description

Lead the design and implementation of business intelligence solutions and data warehousing systems across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop business intelligence solutions and establish technical standards.
• Design and implement data models and schemas for high-performance data marts and warehouses.
• Write complex ETL SQL scripts to aggregate data from various databases for enterprise analytics.
• Manage the reporting environment, including data sources, connections, security, and metadata.
• Troubleshoot database environment issues in collaboration with DBAs and Systems Engineers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology.
• Extensive experience in ETL design, development, and Data Warehouse implementation.
• Hands-on expertise with Pentaho BI Suite, including Pentaho Data Integration Designer/Kettle.
• Proficiency in HDFS.
• Experience architecting large-scale projects in the Financial, Shipping, or Retail industries.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD deployment processes.
• Ability to manage data access control and integrity across an enterprise.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent technical training.
