Description

Design and support GCP-based ETL and data warehousing solutions across various architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL logic from APIs, web services, and on-prem databases.
• Develop data pipelines and models ensuring accuracy, scalability, and security.
• Lead troubleshooting for core data systems and supplemental pipelines.
• Mentor junior personnel and delegate tasks to software engineering teams.
• Collaborate with business owners and BI teams to identify data source requirements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering roles.
• Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically BigQuery.
• Proficiency in Data Fusion or comparable ETL/DW tools.
• Strong programming skills in Java for data extraction and cleanup.
• Working knowledge of Python for GCP product integration.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database management.
• Hands-on experience with XML and JSON data streaming artifacts.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
