Description

You will design, develop, and integrate big data and data science applications using Python and AWS managed services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and run business-critical data science applications.
• Develop software using Python 3 and AWS managed services.
• Implement infrastructure-as-code using AWS Cloud Development Kit or CloudFormation.
• Manage application deployment through continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Write and design unit test cases using TDD and BDD methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python 3 development.
• Experience with AWS services: Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, EventBridge, Step Functions, Aurora, S3, API Gateway.
• Hands-on CI/CD experience with Git, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Practical knowledge of Java, Full-stack, C#, or .NET development.
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, SonarQube, JUnit, and Spring Boot.
• Ability to work with infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Any Graduate degree or equivalent high school diploma/GED.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
