Description

You will build optimized data structures, transformation pipelines, and database objects to support data engineering efforts.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate data models into efficient database objects following governance and naming conventions.
• Develop and implement ETL/ELT processes to maintain tables and views.
• Collaborate with architects and tech leads to convert data requirements into logical data models.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and structural adjustments.
• Document definitions and implement data quality checks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or database development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake.
• Extensive experience with Python for data processing.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and techniques.
• Experience developing data applications within AWS environments.
• Proficiency with DevOps practices including Jenkins and GitHub.
• Experience with Control-M.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data governance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and dashboarding.
