Description

You will design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes for a cloud data platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using modern data stack technologies.
• Analyze technical metadata, pipeline logs, and data lineage to support operational decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define observability requirements, including SLA, data quality, and proactive monitoring.
• Partner with engineering peers to implement best practices and elevate the existing technology stack.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience in data engineering or data management.
• 4-5 years of application development experience using SQL and PL/SQL.
• 2+ years of experience working with dbt and Snowflake.
• 2+ years of experience building data pipelines using various ETL and ELT tools.
• Experience as a Senior Data Engineer in a public cloud environment, specifically Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data warehousing.
• Proficiency in data modelling, process metadata, and platform observability/monitoring.
• Experience building cloud-native solutions using DevOps CI/CD tools and containers.
• Proven experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Airflow.
• Azure or Snowflake training or certification.
