Must haves:
Although this is a manager role they need to be able to be hands on so Leads and Sr. managers will be fine.
Must have hands on experience with GCP.
Strong experience with Snowflake.
Should have experienced with Airflow.
Experience managing teams or being the lead on projects.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
·       Lead, mentor, and grow a high‑performing team of data engineers, focusing on skill development, quality, and delivery excellence.
·       Define and execute the technology roadmap for data acquisition, processing, storage, and utilization across the organization.
·       Serve as a key leader within the Data & Analytics function, contributing to long-term strategy and fostering a strong data-driven culture.
·       Establish clear SLAs and best practices for production datasets, pipelines, and operational processes.

Technical Ownership
·       Oversee the design, development, and optimization of large‑scale data pipelines and ETL processes, 
primarily on Google Cloud Platform with complementary work in AWS.
·       Ensure solutions are robust, well‑architected, and aligned with engineering standards around reliability, scalability, and performance.
·       Guide the implementation of orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, and data warehousing using Snowflake.
·       Participate in technical reviews and, when needed, contribute hands‑on with coding, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation.
·       Support the development of self‑service layers and tools that empower analysts, data scientists, and product teams.

Required Qualifications
·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
·       8+ years of experience in data engineering (data platforms, ingestion, pipeline development, or data management).
·       3+ years of leadership experience building and managing high‑performing engineering teams.
·       2+ years of hands‑on experience with GCP services such as BigQuery, Composer, GCS, Dataflow, or Datastream.
·       Strong background in Python, SQL, Airflow, and Snowflake
